OVERVIEW
The Atlander Roverclaw M/T I is a mud terrain, all season tire created for light trucks and SUVs.
The aggressive tread design with the large blocks gives a huge boost to the overall traction of the tire. The tread area features staggered blocks and a high void ratio, which enables forward motion in a wide range of road and terrain conditions. Side-slipping is also countered by the large shoulder and sidewall blocks. The result is versatile terrain traction in all weather conditions, even in deep mud.
One of the main ideas behind the large tread blocks was to enhance the durability of the tire. They play a huge role in establishing better contact with the road surface. These blocks and their three-dimensional edges also spread to the shoulders and sidewall, protecting the tire from damage and strengthening its structure. The stone ejector grooves of the tread area prevent tire damage and enhance handling at the same time.
The center and shoulder grooves together with the staggered blocks are responsible for self-cleaning. They eliminate snow and mud from between the tread and the road surface, establishing full contact thanks to the tread design. The shape and strong compound of each element help a great deal when it comes to eliminating rocks before they damage the tire. These self-cleaning capabilities also make the tire more durable while regulating traction.
The aggressive tread design solves all the problems one can face in mud terrain conditions. The strategically positioned tread blocks allow the driver to maneuver through loose, soft or uneven terrain. Both the large shoulder blocks and the staggered center blocks do well in maintaining traction in loose terrain or deep mud. The Roverclaw M/T I made off-road driving safe by eliminating snow and mud while consistently being in contact with the road surface.
The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.
